Autodesk Learning Partner Summit 2026: Connecting, Learning and Building Capability

D.R. Engineering Solutions was pleased to participate in the Autodesk Learning Partner (ALP) Summit 2026 – ASEAN Edition, held at the W Kuala Lumpur on 13-14 October 2026.

Representing D.R. Engineering Solutions, Diego Ramirez, Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Autodesk Certified Instructor, and Director of the company, attended the summit alongside Autodesk representatives, Datech, and Learning Partners from across the ASEAN region.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow training providers, exchange ideas, and discuss the evolving role of professional education in the engineering, design, and manufacturing industries.

One of the key themes throughout the summit was the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education and learning. While AI is changing how information is accessed and delivered, a consistent message throughout the event was that experienced instructors continue to play a critical role in helping learners develop practical skills, professional judgement, and real-world problem-solving capability.

Another important takeaway was the increasing focus on outcome-based learning. Organisations are placing greater value on training that helps individuals apply technology effectively within real projects and operational environments, rather than simply learning software features in isolation.

These insights strongly align with D.R. Engineering Solutions’ training philosophy, which combines software proficiency with practical engineering application. Whether supporting design, simulation, manufacturing, or structural steel workflows, the emphasis remains on helping participants develop skills that can be applied confidently in the workplace.

Participation in the Autodesk Learning Partner Summit reinforces D.R. Engineering Solutions’ commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and delivering high-quality training that supports the evolving needs of engineering and manufacturing organisations.

The company extends its thanks to Autodesk, Datech, and the Learning Partner community for a valuable and engaging event.
